Leonard Lothstein , Ph.D.

Dr. Lothstein received his B.A. in Biology from Bowdoin College and his Ph.D. in molecular biology from Vanderbilt University. After post-doctoral training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and The Albert Einstein College of Medicine in NY, Dr. Lothstein joined the UTHSC faculty in 1988, where he is currently an Associate Professor of Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Sciences, member of the UT Center for Cancer Research, the UT Vascular Biology Center of Excellence, and Director of the Center for Anticancer Drug Research. His NIH-funded research is focused on the design, mechanistic analysis and development of novel anti-cancer drugs. |
