International Medical Graduate Requirements

You must pass USMLE Step 1, USMLE Step 2(CK), and USMLE Step 2(CS) on the first attempt. We do not require USMLE Step 3 for residency training, and it will not be considered when reviewing your application.

You must have a minimum score of 86 on both USMLE Step 1 and Step 2(CK). Scores cannot be combined for an average of 86.

You may submit your application without your Step 2(CS) score. However, you must have your score and a valid ECFMG certificate by January 30, 2009.

We offer a J1 Visa only. Please do not submit an application to our program if you require a H visa.

Graduation from Medical School should be within the last five (5) years. If your graduation date is prior to 2003 you must have worked as a physician in a clinical setting for at least 2 years during the period from 2003 to 2008.
