INFORMATION Become
an Associate Associates include professional and community members with an interest in health policy and health services research. Associates are included in all activities of The Center including conferences and mailings. The staff of The Center rely upon Associates for ideas and feedback about the activities of The Center. The
power of The Center lies in its ability to integrate the interests and abilities
of faculty of many departments in all colleges of the University of Tennessee
Health Science Center. Faculty of any department of any college with interests
in health services and policy issues, whether from a research perspective or an
educational perspective or both, are encouraged to participate in the activities
of The Center. The Center seeks to link faculty with interests in behavioral
health, biostatistics, environmental health, epidemiology, health care
economics, health systems administration, medical ethics, preventive medicine,
public health, public policy and administration -- in addition to allied health,
dentistry, medicine and basic medical sciences, nursing, pharmacy, nursing, and
social work -- to provide an integrated and interdisciplinary approach for
assessing and improving health and healthcare issues, policies and programs. Join our mailing lists You can be included on our mailing list. You will receive program announcements, bulletins, newsletters, and special publications. Join our FYI list serv If you join our FYI list serv, three to four times a week you will receive via email a short (3-4 paragraphs) article on a current health care issue that has appeared in the press.
