Membership Information

Member programs shall have the following minimum qualifications:

· Be either an APA- or CPA-accredited internship training program.

· Offer at least 20% time devoted to provision of neuropsychological activities related to medical and psychiatric populations.

· Offer seminars/educational activities related to clinical neuropsychology.

· Provide supervision by a full-time clinical neuropsychologist.

· Provide adjunctive activities that facilitate socialization, acculturation, and diversification of the intern.

 

AITCN has approved the following terminology related to internships that offer experiences in clinical neuropsychology:

· Neuropsychology internship or Neuropsychology track:  In addition to meeting the general membership criteria, these programs offer a minimum of 50% time devoted to provision of neuropsychological activities related to medical and psychiatric populations.

· Neuropsychology component or Neuropsychology rotation:  In addition to meeting the above criteria, these programs offer less than 50% and at least 20% time devoted to provision of neuropsychological activities related to medical and psychiatric populations.
